Stories Told To Me By Girls is a shot of fresh air. It brings wit, insight and a touch of cynicism to a visually stunning 60-minute solo performance. Written by radio and television journalist Julie Hill from remarkable but true stories told to er by girls, the landscape of objects and video images punctuate the storytelling. Jo Smith is one of New Zealand’s leading independent theatre actors, with music by Peter Daubé from 90s cult band Bilge Festival.

Winning Productions has a strong reputation for presenting theatre and multimedia performances in diverse settings, from black box theatres & museums to music venues and found spaces.

AWARDS FOR STORIES

Stories scoops awards at the annual Wellington Chapman Tripp Theatre awards. Nominated in two categories - Best New Script and Best Original Soundtrack.
